I'm drawing something on Fireworks or modeling a primitive on MAX, and when finished, the first thing I wish to do is to upload the completed work here on DA, just to share, after all, many of us here do that with no interest on money.

Sometimes when I'm bored I use different search engines to see how far the packs on this gallery had go, and it's pretty surprinsing the number of sites that offer a download link for this designs, but what really makes me laugh (now) it's the different "style" people from different continents do that:

Sites from the American Continent include:
- The full and unmodified preview that you see in this gallery, and if that preview had my DA address on it, on the other sites that address is still there.
- Next to the word "Author" is my nickname, Rhor, and below or above, the person who posted that.
- The download link is directed to THIS site.

So far, the sites that do this are, again, from this continent AND people from central and western Europe. People from DA can check just that by using a browser plugin that will show you the IP address from the site and a visual tracer to see where the server is located.

Now, check sites from eastern Europe and asia, and what you find?
- No authors name, just the nick of the animal who uploaded it.
- The download link is directed to some sharing site like RS, Megaupload, etc...
- Preview without the original DA address (if any) and in most of the cases, a watermark with the logo of that specific site.


The difference of using something that it's FREE among people it's beyond my level of comprehension. But I decided that in my mind it's more important for me to share.
My designs can be good or bad, some people will like them or not, and that's not the important thing because the act of sharing it's what makes me do more at the end.
It's a circle.

To end this post I just want to say, SCREW them, someday they will have to pay a lot more, I will keep sharing my stuff even if it is crap for many, but I'm pretty sure some "individual" is getting pretty decent yens for this packs of mine.
